Hi, I'm Vipin Kumar, a Frontend Developer based in Berlin.

I am a Frontend Developer based in Berlin with 3+ years of experience building and shipping production web and mobile applications. My core stack is React.js, Next.js, TypeScript and React Native, and I focus on writing clean, maintainable code that delivers real results for users and teams. I care about performance, intuitive UI, and building things that actually work in production.

I have worked with companies in Germany and India, shipping everything from a React Native app with 500,000+ downloads on Google Play Store to a full Next.js platform with headless CMS integration. I have also published my own open-source npm package with 677+ total downloads, and collaborated closely with backend engineers and designers throughout my career to integrate APIs and deliver cohesive user experiences.

I recently submitted my M.Sc. thesis in Computer Science at IU International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, graduating in 2026. My thesis focused on building an anonymous real-time chat system with end-to-end encryption and automatic translation, achieving a colloquium grade of 1.3. I am now looking for a frontend role in Berlin or remote where I can keep building things that matter.
